It’s an unusual project for an architecture firm: a three-storey house with three distinct levels.
The house, a mixed-use development, is in the heart of the city of Zaragoza in northern Spain.
It is designed to complement the city’s existing high-rise commercial and residential development and is meant to create a space for both private and public use.
The design team behind the house is a small, young team of architects from the university of Zarázco in Spain.
They have come up with a concept for an urban neighbourhood that integrates the two main cities in Spain, the city and the countryside.
The project is also the brainchild of architect Antonio Gímez, an architect born in Zaragozca in the late 1990s and raised in Spain and Mexico.
“It is a kind of synthesis of the two worlds,” says Gómes.
“This is not a traditional urban plan but it has a certain essence of it.
The project takes place in the midst of the Spanish countryside, a region that has a rich history of development and cultural exchanges between the two countries. “
The idea is to create something that is a mix of the cities.”
The project takes place in the midst of the Spanish countryside, a region that has a rich history of development and cultural exchanges between the two countries.
The area has a population of about 15 million people, which makes it a particularly popular location for architecture.
But Gómen says the area also contains a significant amount of natural and cultural resources.
A city and a landscape That’s not to say that the house will be the first of its kind in the world. “
We want to combine these two places so that we create a neighbourhood that is unique, that is contemporary and that is environmentally friendly,” he says.
A city and a landscape That’s not to say that the house will be the first of its kind in the world.
But it’s the first house of its type in the country and in Spain at least, and one that could change how we think about urban design.
“You can think of it as a mixed use in the sense that it is not designed to be just a single building, it’s designed to create two areas in different spaces,” Gómera says.
The architect is particularly interested in the possibility of bringing the neighbourhood together in ways that are meaningful to the community.
“There’s something important that you have to think about with this type of development,” he explains.
“When you’re living in a city, you have the opportunity to see your neighbours, you are surrounded by people that live close by.
But when you’re in the countryside you have less contact.
You don’t have the same connections with your neighbours.”
The development will also bring to light the many similarities between Zaragozan and the surrounding countryside, such as the proximity of the towns of La Fuente, Otrillo, Marbella and Zaragoa.
The city of the future is also being shaped by its surroundings, and the project is meant as a way to take advantage of that and to build a community that is connected to both the cityscape and the city.
“In the future, cities will be built in the same way that we see the urban landscape in Zarázonas landscape,” Gomera says.
“
And this will bring to life a city that is completely independent and disconnected from the city.”
