Chinese students at Chicago’s University of Illinois are getting a chance to study architecture in their native city.
The students, who are all part of the Chinese Architecture Academy, are taking a week-long intensive course at the school to study ancient Chinese building techniques, including traditional construction methods and architectural design principles.
Chinese architecture and Chinese culture are closely associated with ancient China, and their buildings have long been an important part of Chinese culture.
Chinese Architecture Academy students are taking part in the Beijing History and Art Festival at the University of Chicago.
